Sushi Just Got Even Better

Just when you thought sushi couldn’t get any better, a new ingenious creation has appeared on the food scene and it has taken things to whole new, mouthwatering level.

Sushi donuts are now a thing and without even trying them, we know they are our new favourite meal.

Forget about your standard Chirashizushi and Inarizushi sushi, this latest trend is the only way you should be enjoying these tasty mouthfuls.

The idea was pioneered by Sam, a vegan food creatrix who recently posted pictures of her culinary creations for her 142k followers on Instagram.

She made them by greasing a donut mould with coconut oil and adding cooled sushi rice before decorating the donut with black sesame seeds, ginger, wasabi, cashew mayo and avocado.

But the beauty of this idea is that you can use whatever ingredients you want and make them your own.

Until we saw them for ourselves we would have never thought that the world needed donut sushi, but we are sure you will agree that this is the only way we want our sushi snacks in the future.

There is no denying that this is the prettiest looking sushi we have ever seen, so we are certain that it won’t be long before the whole world picks up on this tasty trend.

Sam is also the ingenious creator of the galaxy donut that we have seen floating around on the internet in recent weeks, which leaves us with one question – what delicious invention will she come up with next?
