Guilt Free Ice Cream?

Ice Cream is a summer staple, but sadly often contains a lot of fat and calories and just generally isn’t very good for you. So while it may taste delicious, indulging too much could¬†completely ruin the Summer body you’ve work so hard for.

There is a recipe floating around the web which shows you how to make a delicious batch of ice cream, but with no guilt included.

A portion of your favourite ice cream could contain up to and more than 15g of fat per portion, it could also cost the best part of £10 for a tub of it. By following this recipe you can create a great alternative at low cost.

You can make this delicious treat with just one ingredient, but why not try adding a few extras to make it even more enjoyable?

You will need:

1 Frozen Banana
Handful of frozen mixed berries
Splash of milk (soya, almond, hazelnut, etc)

Simply throw it all into a blender/food processor and mix it up until you get a smooth consistency.

Et voila! Providing you have your fruit already frozen and ready to go, you can make this ice cream treat in just a few minutes.

Banana is the main ingredient, which gives the texture and creaminess of the ice cream, also known as nice cream, but adding other fruits to it creates a whole range of flavours. You could even add peanut butter or cocoa powder for a more indulgent dessert.
