10 Ways Your Body Is Warning You About Your Health

Just like cars warning us with flashing lights and incredibly annoying beeps, the body has its own way of warning us that something isn’t quite right. We don’t routinely get an MOT, however the body is perfectly capable of letting us know that things aren’t running as smoothly as they should be. Here are some of the ways in which it lets you know you need to take a trip to the doctors…

1. Muscle cramps

Muscle cramps are common during exercise due to excessive straining and it’s certainly not uncommon to get them after uncomfortable sleep positions (especially in the leg). But if you find yourself getting muscle cramps more often that that, it could be because you’re low on potassium, calcium, or are dehydrated. It is sometimes more serious and indicates blood flow issues, kidney problems, thyroid disease and multiple sclerosis.
